Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist | Attachment-Based Trauma & EMDR Therapy for Children and Adults

I began my journey in psychology with a deep curiosity about how early relationships shape emotional development and mental health across the lifespan. I earned my Associate of Arts degree from Saddleback College before completing my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Applied Psychology, at the University of California, Santa Barbara. It was during these formative years that I discovered my passion for working with children, adolescents, and families, particularly those impacted by early stress, attachment disruptions, and relational trauma.

I went on to earn my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, where I developed a strong foundation in attachment-based and trauma-informed care. Through a range of clinical internships and professional experiences, I worked extensively with children, adolescents, and families navigating complex emotional and relational challenges, including trauma, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation. These experiences deepened my understanding of how unresolved early experiences continue to influence behavior, relationships, and nervous system responses into adulthood.

My clinical work has included providing prevention, intervention, and counseling services for at-risk youth and their families, as well as working in outpatient settings supporting children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health needs. This work reinforced my commitment to helping clients heal not just symptoms, but the underlying attachment and trauma-related patterns driving them.

Today, I specialize in attachment-based, trauma-informed therapy for children and adults, with a strong focus on EMDR therapy to support trauma processing and nervous system regulation. I am passionate about helping individuals and families break generational patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and build more secure relationships. I also value creating an affirming and inclusive space, including support for individuals and families navigating LGBTQ+ identities. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that healing is possible at any stage of life.
